Ideja Uspona documentary project delves into the lives, professions, and habits of individuals who, thanks to their ideas, have brought about significant changes or have encouraged unique business practices in Croatian regions. Each episode focuses on three protagonists situated within one region. Through stylized filming, a documentary-narrative approach, and the intriguing themes and environments explored, the series provides a unique perspective into the lives of the protagonists, their talents, and the passions that drive them.
The protagonists reside outside the hustle and bustle of major cities, in regions where such activities are not typically expected. They engage in various occupations that may not be standard in Croatia, especially not in the designated region.
In the first season, spanning four episodes, we journey through the regions of Podravina, Croatian Zagorje, Istria, and Slavonia. Series is financed by Croatian National Television (HRT).
The series is authored and directed by Filip Filković Philatz, Toni Renaud is director of photography.
