Our mascot and logo is the snowy owl "Vaganov" (lat. Bubo scandiacus), a type of owl that is a symbol of wisdom and synonyms for the gift of higher knowledge. It is often said that the owl has the wisdom and intelligence to see and recognize what others cannot, it has "sight beyond illusion." Yes, we are very serious when it comes to owls.
Owls are associated with the moon and nights, and because of their genetics, they have night vision - so they can see what is usually not in the spectrum of others.
